BOTSWANA - SGI signed a contract under the Zambezi Integrated Agro-Commercial Development Project

On 18 January SGI, in joint venture with Metaferia Consulting Engineers P.L.C. (Ethiopia), signed a contract for conducting feasibility study under the Zambezi Integrated Agro-Commercial Development Project in Botswana.

 

The assignment comprises three distinctive components: agriculture and related water infrastructure development as well as environmental and social impact assessment.

The project will last nine months.

 

Its overall objective is to “establish a viable commercial agricultural development, which will improve Botswana’s food security, diversify agriculture, meaningfully contribute to the country’s GDP and create direct employment for over 4,000 people.
